IReV records 82.46 percent Osun election result uploads

The Independent National Electoral Commission has uploaded results from 3,103 of the 3763 polling units to its Result Viewing Portal (IReV) for Saturday’s governorship election held across the 30 Local Government Areas of Osun State.

BusinessDay reports that the commission started uploading results of the election on its portal late Saturday.

It was gathered that as of 8:01 pm, the uploaded results represented 82.46 per cent of all polling units in the Osun State governorship election.

The election featured 15 political parties, including Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress and 12 other gubernatorial hopefuls.

Additional election results are still being processed and uploaded to the portal as collation and electronic transmission continue across the state.
