Fintiri credits God, financial discipline for Adamawa’s transformation after seven years
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has attributed the achievements recorded by his administration over the last seven years to divine grace, prudent financial management, and the resilience of the people of the state.
Fintiri disclosed this in a statement issued by Humwashi Wonosikou, chief press secretary, while marking the seventh anniversary of the “Fresh Air” administration.
He stated that the progress witnessed across Adamawa since 2019 reflected careful planning, discipline, and collective commitment to development.
The governor noted that despite the challenges associated with governing a large and diverse population, his administration has delivered visible transformation in critical sectors across the state.
“Notwithstanding the complexity of managing the massive population of the State, it is evident that Adamawa has been hugely prosperous,” Fintiri stated. “It has not been easy, but to the glory of God, there is huge prosperity in Adamawa.”
He explained that beyond policy direction and political will, the administration’s success has largely been driven by prudent management of resources and strategic planning.
“In all situations, we give glory to God. We are grateful that He has given us the opportunity to become a source of joy to the people of Adamawa. Our success is also anchored on financial discipline and careful planning. No one is left behind, and nothing is left untouched,” the governor added.
Governor Fintiri also commended the people of Adamawa for their patience, resilience, and support throughout the journey, noting that their cooperation has been instrumental to the achievements recorded by the administration.
“The last seven years have been very eventful and fruitful. You can see remarkable progress going on across the length and breadth of Adamawa. This would not have been possible without the support and resilience of our people,” he said.
The governor assured residents that his administration would continue to consolidate on its achievements by expanding service delivery and sustaining ongoing development projects across the state.
“We can only do better and render more services to the people in the next year. Our commitment remains: No one is left behind, and nothing is left untouched,” Fintiri said.
