Bauchi will soon open job portal to employ 10,000 youths – HoS
Muhammad Sani Umar, the Bauchi State Head of Service (HoS) has said that the State Government will soon open portal for the employment of 10,000 youths as workers in the State.
He said this during a courtesy visit to the Bauchi State Civil Service Commission, adding that Governor Bala Mohammed had approved the employment of 10,000 job seekers into various cadres in the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The Bauchi Head of Civil Service said that the 10,000 jobs would fill the available vacancies in various Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the State.
He said that the employment would strength the workforce and reduce unemployment rate in the State, demanding cooperation and support from all stakeholders for the success of the exercise.
The Head of Civil Service who was in the Bauchi State Ministry to congratulate the Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission for his recent appointment, thanked the Management of Bauchi State information and Communication Technology for the show of professionalism, dedication whenever their service is needed.
Earlier, Ibrahim Alhaji Muhammad, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, said it would be a welcome development to the teaming youths seeking jobs in Bauchi State.
Hayatuddeen Baba Ma’aji, Director General Information Communication Technology (ICT) Bauchi State, represented by Jibreel Hussain Kawure, the Centre Director, said that before a candidate would be able to access or log into the portal, they must create their account that requires some personal information and password.
He said the portal would feature more than 100 positions and posts in order to enable the candidates to select the kind of work and posts they want to be employed across the MDAs.
