Adedoyin Anyaehie, Executive Director, Alpha Morgan Bank
Adedoyin Anyaehie is an accomplished leader and banking professional with extensive experience in commercial banking and wealth management. She excels in business development, driving growth, and leading high-performing teams focused on collaboration, innovation, and service excellence.
Her expertise includes business strategy, driving value for customers in both retail and wholesale banking, including large corporations, government institutions, DFIs, and other financial entities. She also has strong skills in credit risk management, improving financial metrics.
As executive director at Alpha Morgan Bank, Adedoyin oversees operations in Abuja and the north, ensuring the bank’s goals and regional business strategies are met. Previously, she was a C-suite executive at Alpha Morgan Capital, where she helped establish the firm in Abuja, contributing to its long-term success. She remains a non-executive director there.
She believes that to be a woman in leadership is to carry two worlds — the boardroom’s sharp edges in one hand, and the softness of life’s personal demands in the other. According to her, the beauty lies in mastering both without losing either.
It is her opinion that every successful woman leader must understand that the responsibility for leadership and grace must coexist because leadership authority allows you to push boundaries, negotiate boldly, and to lead teams with confidence, while grace allows you to connect, mentor, and inspire without losing authenticity.
That is not all Adedoyin has to say. On female executives, she believes the challenge is not just about achieving success but doing so while maintaining a sense of harmony in both professional and personal spaces. “The pressure to be strong yet nurturing, decisive yet accommodating, ambitious yet present, can often feel like walking a tightrope. But the truth is, balance is not about choosing one over the other — it’s about learning to move with grace between them.” She revealed.
Anyaehie’s view on work-life balance catches the mind. She says the traditional notion of work-life balance suggests an even split, as though life were a neatly divided equation. Her view is that real life isn’t symmetrical because some days, work takes the lead like a solo violin, and other days, family and self-care set the rhythm. “The key is not perfection but harmony — knowing when to shift focus and when to embrace the imperfections of the journey.” She stated.
Adedoyin Anyaehie holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Calabar and a Master’s in Digital Currencies from the University of Nicosia. Passionate about continuous leadership and management development, she has completed executive programmes at the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Business School. Her expertise in leadership, financial markets, and emerging technologies makes her a key figure in shaping the future of banking in Nigeria and beyond.
